Hellbenders
Super excited that our friends in the Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks helped reintroduce the state endangered Hellbender salamander to the Darby watershed! Our Senior Ecologist Teagan Loew has a soft-spot for the Hellbender and assisted in the release of captive bred Hellbenders in Jefferson County. Not only that, our Principal Ecologist, Dr. Michael Hoggarth, is an ODNR-approved herpetologist with a scientific permit for eastern hellbender surveys. Hooray for Hellbenders!
Hellbenders dramatic reintroduction to Battelle Darby Creek
Last week was an exciting one for Metro Parks! Hellbenders, a state endangered salamander species, were reintroduced to the Darby watershed. We're happy to be part of something as cool as this project with the Ohio Hellbender Partnership.Video: Dustin Davis

Stone Environmental does great work. I’ve referred Mary Sharrett to many communities who need HTRW Investigations.
