Cliffview Sanitary Sewer – Proctorville, Ohio

This project entailed design of approximately 1,600 feet of 6-inch sanitary force main and a 1,500 GPM pump station. The purpose of the project was to eliminate a package treatment plant that was in the path of a proposed ODOT-funded state highway bypass project. The project was funded by cost-for-cure funds and included close coordination with ODOT, Lawrence County, and the existing package treatment plant owner/operator. Special design considerations included design of a restrained joint force main system that was capable of deflecting under the proposed road embankment due to an 18-inch estimated existing soil settlement. Careful consideration of pump station siting and force main routing was thoroughly conducted.

I am writing to thank you (Hank) and STONE for the services you performed for the site civil design (CC-plans and Site Compliance Plan), preparation of construction documents and specifications, and obtaining approvals through the City of Columbus for our new V&S Columbus Galvanizing LLC facility. Your ability to meet our tight schedule, stay within engineering construction budgets, and provide a quality end product was critical to the completion of the site work for this project.
