Wastewater Treatment Replacement Construction Observation ā€“ ODNR ā€“ Deer Creek State Park, Mt. Sterling, Ohio

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) contracted STONE to provide periodic on-site construction observation during placement of a new on-site wastewater treatment system at Deer Creek State Park. STONE personnel observed the construction, plumbing, directional boring drilling, and electrical contractors and noted their progress on the project. Periodic documentation described the installation of the leach field, dosing tanks, and force main, as well as subsequent demolition of the old system. Maintenance of site conditions, such as clearing of disturbed areas, placement of silt fencing for erosion control, and final grading, were noted throughout the project and when satisfactorily completed.

I just wanted to reach out to both of you & all of Stone for your outstanding effort, due diligence & professionalism on this project.

Iā€™m certainly no ESA expert, but I was blown away by the detail contained in your report, especially given the tight timeframe that was required for delivery.

Please know that your work at Walnut Grove is very much appreciated by everyone here at POAH.

For the record, I am now a huge fan of Stone Environmental, and I hope we will continue our working relationship well into the future.

Doug Dempsey, POAH
