Surveying & Engineering for Bridge Replacement – City of Gahanna / Shaw & Holter, Inc. – Gahanna, Ohio

STONE prepared Bridge Construction Plans and provided Surveying / Construction Staking for replacement of a wooden pedestrian bridge spanning Mill Race near Big Walnut Creek. The project is located in a mixed-use area of commercial development and Creekside Park, where you can stroll along the boardwalk to shop, eat, and view the creek. The engineering plans were developed in coordination with the Contractor and adhered to American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and City of Gahanna standards and specifications. STONE made efforts to coordinate functionally and aesthetically with an existing boardwalk on the east side and an existing concrete walkway on the west, and completed the steel design in two weeks for this fast-track project.

I can’t thank you enough for everyone’s hard work on this difficult project.  Your team was very diligent and very professional.  Jeff really fought for us at the city planning meeting. We finally got an approval from the city and I couldn’t be happier.  Please keep up the great work.  I will recommend your firm to all my contacts. Hats off to your staff. You should be proud.
