Ecological and Environmental Services – Southside Community Park Improvements – New Philadelphia, Ohio

STONE completed various ecological and environmental services in support of construction of a multi-phased park. Park plans included features such as access roads, nature trails, parking, restrooms, dog parks, playgrounds, various recreational fields, and an outdoor amphitheater. The project location included undisturbed floodplain forest along Old Town Creek with several wetland areas and headwater streams. Services provided included:

  • Ecological Survey
  • Mussel Reconnaissance Survey
  • Waterway Permitting
  • Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) / Regulated Materials Review (RMR) Assessment
  • Cultural Resources Scoping/Phase 1
  • SHPO Coordination
