Environmental Evaluation – Stormwater Pump Station Improvements ST-21, ST-22 and ST-23 – City of Columbus – Columbus, Ohio

STONE completed Environmental Evaluations for this corridor project which included floodplain, threatened / endangered Species, wetland, stream, water quality, cultural resource and historic architecture, water and gas well, and regulated material reviews. This information was used as par to the Preliminary Design Report for the stormwater pump station improvements (CIP 611031-100000). A literature review of readily-available information was completed before conducting the on-site review. The field review was conducted in an attempt to visually identify obvious ecological or environmental concerns. STONE summarized anticipated permitting and future investigation requirements.

I am writing to thank you (Hank) and STONE for the services you performed for the site civil design (CC-plans and Site Compliance Plan), preparation of construction documents and specifications, and obtaining approvals through the City of Columbus for our new V&S Columbus Galvanizing LLC facility. Your ability to meet our tight schedule, stay within engineering construction budgets, and provide a quality end product was critical to the completion of the site work for this project.
