GAL-588-11.10 Environmental Clearance Review – Gallipolis, Ohio

STONE completed an environmental clearance review report for three Gallia County Waste Areas (“sites”) associated with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) GAL-588-11.10 (PID 113908) project. The environmental review consisted of assessing the sites for surface waters, federal and state-listed species habitat, Section 4(f) and 6(f) public lands, FEMA floodplains, and hazardous materials. Cultural resource reviews were performed via subconsultant. STONE worked closely with the client to avoid any potential resources, and all three areas were recommended for environmental clearance. The client desired to begin using the waste/borrow areas within an expedited timeframe. STONE’s responsiveness allowed us to complete this project on a short timeline, allowing the Contractor to begin work on this emergency project.

“… The team at STONE has been great to work with.  They are our environmental experts.  They are responsive on turn times and competitive on price. STONE helps us understand the true environmental risk that we may face.  STONE is our “go to” partner for Environmental Services. “
