STONE facilitated the air and wastewater permitting required when this activated carbon manufacturer wanted to add a new process line. STONE also designed the sanitary modification and monitoring station for this newprocess. The work involved resolving storm water concerns that allowed the company to file as No Exposure for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), submitting an air permit modification for the remainder of the plant, and advising on changes to their Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) and Right-to-Know reporting status.
