Limited Phase I Hazardous, Toxic, & Radioactive Waste Investigation (HTRW) – Smithfield, Ohio

As part of a project to upgrade nine pump stations and an existing wastewater treatment plant on 11 acres, STONE was contracted to perform a Limited Phase I Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) Investigation as required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).  The purpose of the HTRW Investigation was to provide a professional opinion, based on obvious and reasonably ascertainable information, on the identification of HTRW within the project area. The purpose of the HTWR was to identify sites that warranted further assessment due to the potential of having HTRW concerns.  The investigation included a site reconnaissance and review of select public records (such as aerial photographs and topographic maps) for the project and the immediate vicinity to characterize environmental features and to identify past and present land use activities.

“Having worked with STONE on a couple of projects I can say that Mary Sharrett and her staff work diligently to complete projects on time and in a highly professional manner.  They are trusted by state and federal agencies and their experience with permits saves the client time. They are among the best and I look forward to working with them again in the future.”
