ODOT Maintenance Facility Site Engineering – Ohio Department of Transportation – Columbus, Ohio

STONE was responsible for the civil and site engineering design improvements for an ODOT maintenance and vehicle storage facility. STONE prepared an existing conditions survey and conducted a geotechnical assessment of the site. Site improvements including storm water management (collection, detention and discharge), new utility connections and routing, access roads and parking, and a new fueling facility were designed. Our services also included development of a demolition and phasing plan to allow unimpeded use of the site during construction.

STONE also provided services during construction including review of shop drawing submittals, attendance at construction progress meetings, preparation of change orders, and completion of as-built drawings.

“I was very impressed with the level of service that STONE had provided us.  The assignment was handled very swiftly and professionally.  Based on our satisfaction, I have to imagine that STONE has the available resources and knowledge to tackle any environmental project, large or small.  I will certainly look to STONE for any future projects.”
