Ackerman Rd. Resurfacing Design and Bid Preparation – The Ohio State University – Columbus, Ohio

This project included over 1,000 lineal feet of drive replacement to sustain student bus traffic. The pavement was designed based upon one bus per seven minute intervals. The project involved a surface and subsurface drainage design, including new storm sewers and catch basins, as well as design for an ADA accessible pedestrian ramp. A maintenance of traffic plan (MOT) was prepared. STONE prepared construction drawings and bid documents for the project, prepared cost opinion for the work, assisted the university to obtain and evaluate bids, and provided limited on-site services during construction.

“Bayshore Environmental is very pleased to have engaged STONE to conduct a Phase II assessment of a contaminated commercial property.  The technical staff at STONE worked with us to develop an excellent program that entailed soil and groundwater sampling, testing and removal of drums of waste petroleum products, and the remediation of contaminated soil.  STONE conducted the work in a timely manner, produced an excellent report that was tailored to meet our needs, and all at a very reasonable cost.  We are pleased to endorse STONE and look forward to working with them in the future.”
