Spring Valley Stream Restoration – Parks and Recreation Department – Westerville, Ohio

STONE prepared engineering plans for the removal of three deteriorated bridges, abutments, and weirs in this City-owned greenway. The bridges and weirs were constructed in the late 1970s but had received minimal maintenance from the homeowner’s association, who were the owners at the time. In addition to the removals, STONE designed a stop-log outlet structure and discharge line for a storm water retention basin and, in conjunction with an architect, prepared detailed plans for trail/path improvements, new bridge abutments and bridge foundation design, and stream-bank improvement measures. STONE also assisted with geotechnical review for the bridge and on-site construction observation.

We just wanted to say how nice it’s been to work with you and your team!   Everyone has been very knowledgeable, supportive and easy to work with.  The experience we’ve had in Ohio has been better as a result of the time we have spent with your team!   Have a great week and we hope to work with STONE in the future.
