Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Replacement Feasibility Study, Design, Permitting – New Marshfield, Ohio

This 10-home mobile home park was under orders from Ohio EPA to address the WWTP which was not meeting effluent requirements. The owner’s goal was to replace the conventional activated sludge wastewater package treatment plant with a new onsite treatment system that would not require an National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. STONE developed a feasibility study for the replacement of the wastewater treatment system and designed the septic system, lift station, forcemain, and gravel-less absorption field. STONE worked with the Ohio EPA in evaluating and justifying the design flow and completed design and calculations for the new on-site treatment system.

“STONE performed the ecological survey, environmental sites assessment, wetland delineation, waterway permit for 20 culverts throughout Monroe and Washington Counties. They also prepared the environmental document. We got praises from Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Office of Environmental Services (OES) about their performance. They were a pleasure to work with and were always very responsive.”
